"Magandang Pagsasamahan tungo sa Maayos at Maunlad na Lipunan"

We need strength to successfully live on Earth, and we need unity to have that strength.
They say, " Even the weak become strong when they united" and that's true. "No man is an island," some said. Every individual needs someone in every journey of his life. They need each other for them to live, for them to have a better way of living. And also, through unity, we can accomplish extraordinary things. We, the Filipinos were able to liberate ourselves from the dictatorial government. So now, we're free! And in one country, Progress is what people aim for. So each individual unites for them to have a better life and progressive country and also, good relationship was built among individuals.
Isn't it that it's good to see people with different religion and race understand and respect each other? Are you not happy to see people helping each other to have a better and peaceful life? So if you are, this is a challenge for you and for all of us. Let's all unite. It's hard, but still, it's possible.

ALL I WANT IS TO REST ALL DAY.....

Each one of us wants to have a break after all the stressful activities and examinations in school. We were so excited that we want the time to go fast for us to have the break and slows the time during the break. But how did I spend my semestral break?
I did not go to other place just to spend my sem break. I just stayed in our house and spend my time to my family.Every morning, after I'd finished cleaning our house, I went to my room and watched TV. Sometimes, when my mother is out, I'm the one to cooked our food. Sometimes, if I'm not watching TV, I'm surfing the net or playing computer games. This was my life during the semestral break. Maybe for you, It's boring, but for me, I enjoyed what I am doing. All I want is to rest all day. But when November 1 came, I did not watch TV, because I hate horror movies. Every time I watched horror movies, I can't sleep. We also went to Paing and Boquig to visit my late grandfathers.
Eventhough I just spent my sembreak in our house, at least I enjoyed and I really had fun.

REFLECTIONS:

I really enjoyed the topics and activities we made this Second Grading regarding to HTML. Honestly, it was quite boring in typing the tags, but then, when I saw the result, I was amazed and this made me to be patient enough in making our activities.

The only problem I have encountered was the slow responds of the computer and sometimes I can't access with the internet. But the only thing to address this problem is, I should be more patient in waiting my activity to be finished.

Moving on, I will do my best to finished all the activities that were given to us.

Breaking Barriers Through English

Our country is now suffering from different crisis and we can't deny it. Because of these, Our country is thirsty in progress. But how can we help to break the barriers that tends to retard progress?
We are living in different countries so we have different languages. If we communicate to each other, we can't understand what we are trying to say. And if this happens, we cannot help each other to solve the problems we are suffering today. In order to have unity among nations, we must have a universal language and that is the ENGLISH LANGUAGE. Sometimes it's hard to speak in English but it's the only way to express our feelings and ideas when we are communicating to a someone. Through English, we'll be able to tell what is really happening to us and maybe we can try to ask some help.
Imagine how important the English Language to us. It helps us to express our ideas and helps us to break the barriers that tends to retard progress. So we must know how to speak in English.

Filipinnovation, The Way Forward

If we are going to look back their lives before and compare it today, isn't it that it was improved a lot? do you still remember their clothes before, isn't it that it was only leaves ? But as time passed by, gifted Filipinos were born and those leaves were turned into cottons.
Our country is rich in natural resources, and through Science and Technology, these natural resources are well-known worldwide. Our country is also blessed with gifted Filipinos which made us popular in the whole world because of their inventions. But they are not only the ones who can contribute to a cultural innovations for better quality of life but all of us can contribute in our own way. I am still a student but still, I can do something. I joined activities related to science like investigatory project wherein sometimes we discover or invent something which lead us to have a better quality of life.
Another thing I can do is not patronizing those state-sides product. I will also encourage my countrymen to patronized our own products and tell them "let's be proud of it." So that we can help our country to be progressive.

My Teacher.... My Hero

When we speak about heroes, we usually think of cartoon characters like Superman, Spiderman, Batman, Wonderwoman. But for me, the real heroes are our teachers.
Just think about this, are there professionals without the help of our teachers? none, right? Because, they are the key to success.
Our teachers taught us how to read, write, draw, and everything and also they taught us the right discipline we must have. They also serve as our second parents because they care and love us as our real parents do.
We must not hate our teachers because sometimes they are scolding us , instead, we must thank them because if they're not doing that, we know nothing.

REFLECTIONS:

At first, I don't have any idea on how to create blogs, how to designed it, but then, as we go further, I learned how to create my blog and I know now how to designed it. I learned also the advantages of blogs to students like us.
I have also learned the History of Internet, the Internet Architects, Philippine Pioneers and the Software Pioneers.
I have learned also the web search engines, the ways a user talks to a web database which are through a type in a box and by selling choices off of a directory structure. I have also tried to search a certain topic by using the search terms.
The only problem that I have encountered is that lack of time and computers. But the only way to addressed these problems is that, I should be more patient.
Moving on, I will be more responsible on the works that our teacher will give to us.

Sa Pangangalaga ng Wika at Kalikasan, Wagas na Pagmamahal Talagang Kailangan

The way we love and care a thing which is important to us must also be the way to do for our nature and language.
We have so many language here in the Philippines like Iloco, Bisaya, Ilonggo, Pangasinense and many more. If an Ilocano will communicate to a Bisaya, will they understand each other? NO, so Manuel L. Quezon founded only one language which is the Filipino language so that all of us will understand each other. So we must love our language, know its importance and be proud of it and use it well.
Like our language, we must also love, take good care of our nature and we must also know its importance. You think of it, if our nature will be destroyed, where will we stay? How are we going to live? So we must help each other to preserve our nature.

Sa Pagkain ng Tama at Sapat, Wastong Nutrisyon ni Baby ang Katapat

Nowadays, malnutrition is one of the major problems in developing countries including Philippines. So we are celebrating the nutrition month every year to create awareness among people on the importance of nutrition.
The theme,"Sa Pagkaing Tama at Sapat, Wastong Timbang ni Baby ang Katapat," focuses on the importance 0f giving right food to babies starting at six months old while continuing breastfeeding. Mothers should choose and prepare food among the three food groups: GO, GROW, and GLOW to make the babies healthy. Mothers should also maintain cleanliness in preparing food for babies to avoid sickness because their body is not yet strong. So mothers should practice proper food handling.
We must remember all of these and we must help one another to make babies healthy and lessen the number of malnourished children so that there are no more children who are not healthy.

Letter to President NoyNoy Aquino

Dear Mr. President,
First of all, I would like to greet you a good day. And also, I would like to congratulate you for winning in the election.
I wrote a letter to you Mr. President because there's one thing I would like to request to you. As a concerned student, I would like to request you Mr. President to help us students to have a new books. I've seen in the public schools that this is the major problem they want to solve. Imagine that one old book is for forty students.
I know that this is not new to you. so please as soon as possible sir, give us new books. I believe that you would be better than the previous presidents. I do hope that you will grant my request. Have a good day sir and good luck.

Respectfully yours,
Madelyn Pilien
