CHANGE:IT STARTS WITH ME!!

CHANGE.... a single word but it was really hard to define.
CHANGE.... that is what everybody aimed for.
CHANGE.... with that word, there's a big responsibility on it..
And finally, CHANGE, it is a challenge to everyone of us.


We all want some change. Maybe, Change in our lifestyle, change in our physical appearances, and change in our country. But we must be responsible on the things we want to change. In one thing we want to change, it is a big challenge to us. We must know where, when, and how to face this challenge of change.

And I think, this is now the time for me to take this challenge.
I will start making myself busy. I must finished all the things to be submitted before its deadline. It's not easy to rush things so better to finish it earlier. So from now on, I'll change some of my bad attitudes for me to have a brighter future!!

MY DREAM... MY FUTURE!!

Even a 3-year old child has its own dream. Even a dying person has its own dream. They dreamed just for themselves or for their loved ones and even for the nation. But there are still those people who don't have a dream. Those are people who don't have directions in life.
When I was still a child, I really want to become a nurse. My mother even bought me a toy like the things of a real nurse. I really want to become a nurse. But then, when I reached high school, I've changed my mind, I don't want to become a nurse, because I'm afraid of blood. Then I thought another one, I want to become a Certified Public Accountant ,because it is in demand nowadays. But then, I started to hate Math, because it's getting harder. So I crossed out accountancy.
Then I said, " I love foods... I love working with foods.... and cooking is my passion.. and I want to have my own restaurant." And then, I start dreaming of becoming a chef. I want to learn how to chop fast, to bake, and everything related to cooking.
Someday, somehow, I'll become a chef. I'll do my best for me to reach my dream. And to have what I dreamed to have.

KANNAWIDAN...

KANNAWIDAN....

This is the most awaited event in the entire Ilocos Sur wherein, different towns and municipalities here at Ilocos Sur participate to showcase their own products and expect that your eyes will be amaze on their attractive products. Even municipalities or towns that are not located in Ilocos Sur also joined the Kannawidan Trade Fair. Different people came to buy and came to see the different products of Ilocos Sur.

This Kannawidan aimed to preserved and sustained the old traditions, attractive products, and practices of the Ilocanos,, and it also promotes the local tourism industry.

JANUARY 25..

Every 25th of January, the City of Vigan celebrates its town fiesta. And it was my day eventhough I'm not a Bigueno. Why? Because, I joined the grand parade and not all can attend the said event. It's for the government employees, king and queen who won in pageant and popularity contest, teachers and selected students from different schools in Vigan. We were on our fatigue uniform with neckerchief and gloves. It was hard to command but still it was fun.
There are thousands of people came to watch the grand parade and other events like the Longganisa Festival. They even took pictures for documentary.
I can say that city fiesta this year is worth remembering. I really enjoyed a lot. So be proud you're a Bigueno. Cause I'm also proud eventhough I'm not Vigan for I am studying for almost four years. :)

REFLECTIONS!

Third Quarter is over!! Welcome Fourth Quarter!! Another set of activities, posts are coming this Fourth Quarter. But before that, let's go back to the happenings during Third Quarter.
Ma'am Vera Cruz introduced to us the Microsoft Frontpage where we could make or design our own websites. Our topic was all about Vigan Delicacies so it was easy. But there's still a problem I encountered in making our project, It's when I forgot to get the sites where I copied some additional information for our project. So we need to find those sites all over again.
For the internet connection, it was fine it's not a problem this time.
Moving on, I will remember all those things related to our project so that I will not rush things again.

SOMETHING NEW IN 2011!!

When New Year comes, every individual expects some changes or something new in their lives - physical appearances, emotional, spiritual, and social.
At the start of January, I have no plans for the whole year. I have no New Years Resolution. But then, the following days, I have thought of the changes and my plans I'm going to make the whole year.
One, maybe, I have to loss some weight. I have observed that every year, my weight increased by 4 kg. And I'm afraid to be the next 200 pound queen. JOKE! Another, I will do my part as a Christian. I will go to church even twice or thrice a month. Next, I will be responsible enough or I will be a better person this time. I will also do my part as a daughter to our family. And Lastly, I will be good to my classmates before my High School Life ends and I will treasure those moments with my friends for the last three months.

TRUE ESSENCE OF CHRISTMAS

When Ber months came, everybody is excited for Christmas. Wanna know why? Its all because, they are excited for their expected gifts from their loved ones and friends.
At the very start of December, some are busy preparing their houses for Christmas and also some are busy going to shopping malls to buy some gifts for their loved ones and friends. But Christmas is not all about gifts and shopping, It's more on love and sharing.
For a family, gifts are not important, what's important, is the time you spend to do little things to make the holiday special for the whole family. And for me, being with my friends on Christmas, sharing happy moments and helping those less fortunate is the best gift ever.
So always put this into our minds, that Christmas is all about the birth of Christ for Christians, love for others, sharing, and unity.
